Who Is This For

  • Coaches who enter live stats, manage periods, and handle substitutions.
  • Admins who support tracking, verify final accuracy, and finalize report details.

Prerequisites

  • You are signed in as a coach or admin.
  • You are opening a game event, not a practice.
  • The game has a valid team and game context (teamId and gameId).
  • A tracker configuration exists for the team.

Choose Your Path

Use this quick guide before you start:

  • Standard: Use for classic manual entry with timer, team/opponent stats, and finish flow.
  • Beta: Use for sideline-focused basketball tracking with quick substitutions.
  • Live Broadcast Tracker: Use Beta-style tracking plus live chat and live-view context.
  • Photo Score Sheet: Use after the game to import final stats from a score sheet image.

Important behavior:

  • If no mode chooser appears, the game opens in the default Standard tracker.
  • If the game is already complete, open Report instead of starting a new tracking session.

Step-by-Step Workflow

  1. Open the game from schedule.
  • Select Track on the game card.
  • Confirm opponent, date, and location.
  1. Select the tracker mode.
  • Pick the mode that matches your game situation.
  • Select Start to begin clocked tracking.
  1. Track events during play.
  • Update period as the game moves through Q1-Q4 and OT.
  • In Standard, log team/opponent stats and use Undo for quick fixes.
  • In Beta or Live Broadcast Tracker, use Live, Opponents, and Subs/Swap to keep on-court data current.
  • In Live Broadcast Tracker, use Live Chat for staff communication.
  1. Keep role tasks focused.
  • Coaches prioritize real-time event entry, period changes, substitutions, and notes.

  • Confirm final score, player stats, opponent stats, and summary.
  • Share report or live/replay links when ready.

Common Questions

  • Which mode is best for live play?

Use Standard for familiar manual entry. Use Beta or Live Broadcast Tracker for faster sideline substitutions and live context.

  • When should I use Photo Score Sheet?

Use it after the game when final stats are on a completed paper score sheet.

  • Can both coach and admin run this workflow?

Yes. Both can track games. Admins usually lead final verification.

  • What happens after Save & Complete?

The game is marked complete and opens in report view for review and sharing.

Recovery & Troubleshooting

  • Sent back to login: Sign in again, reopen the same game from schedule, and continue.
  • Tracking says this is a practice: Practice events cannot be tracked as games. Return to schedule and open a game event.
  • No basketball mode chooser: Continue in the default Standard tracker.
  • Game already has tracked data: If prompted to clear data, cancel to keep records or confirm to start fresh.
  • Photo analysis mapped teams incorrectly: Use side swap, remap home players, and verify final scores before applying.
  • Save & Complete did not finish: Stay on the page, confirm final scores, retry save, then verify in report view.
  • schedule: Build and manage the game schedule.
  • game-day: Handle day-of-game operations and live coordination.
  • postgame: Complete recap, reporting, and follow-up.

Need More Help

  • Reopen the game from schedule and retry with the mode that fits your context.
  • Recheck score, stats, and summary before sharing.
  • Contact your team admin if access or game visibility blocks progress.
